Rick, there is something going on, but I really don't think it's a big deal having been caught on the production line....it'll be taken care of, if it hasn't been already and all will be good.....better now than a recall later, which we know, none of us want...
I agree, on that forum rumors are and can be rampant....The gentlemen I alluded to on that forum, Ram3500dually is very knowledgeabel about Chrysler, (again, he worked for them for 30 years), and is letting everyone know, it's no big deal...as invstr55 alluded, there is a difference between the 2500 frame and the 3500 frame, there is a difference in the strength rating of the metal used to fabricate the frame with...
This is a "short build" year for Ram with the 13's, don't really understand why they've done what they have...unless told otherwise, they should start retool sometime in July for the 14'....it is a tad confusing to say the least..
