I'd love to see scale tickets once you get it all hooked up. I was really surprised at how much payload my family and I and our******ate up:
Getting Weighed
If I am doing my math correctly your RV only weighs about 13,800#. For 42' that is nothing. Are you loaded or empty with those numbers?
Website says 11,800# dry wt. 13,800# sounds about right loaded. A really light trailer, with 4 slides!
What looks weird to me though. 126 gal grey water, 42 gal black, and 42 gal fresh.
42 fresh water, and 126 gal grey?
Here is my recap where I totaled all of the numbers
Cummins12V98 - your math is right, it's 13,860 pounds by my math. It was loaded, but I was missing a handful of things that I normally carry:
- I was out of propane
- I was had essentially empty gray and black tanks (pretty typical, but I do have times where I don't dump before leaving a campground)
- It was the first trip of the season (we generally accumulate******as the season goes on; we purged as we winterized the camper to de-clutter as much as possible)
- I was carrying about 2/3 of a tank of fresh water - but that's fairly typical for me
mpierce - yeah, the specs are essentially right. It's 42 fresh water; 126 gray water (bathroom; galley; and outdoor kitchen); and it's 84 black water (front bathroom; 1/2 bathroom).
The camper grosses 15,825 - I've got a ways to go before I hit that. But, I'd like to leave a good bit of a buffer since I do sometimes carry varying levels of fluids in my gray/black tanks.
There's also just not a whole lot more that I feel like I need to add...

That said, what really surprised me most was the fact that I only have 16.5% pin weight at 2,300 pounds.
