Seems to me, I paid nearly that much for my 6.7 Ford Turbo Diesel. Pretty sure the GM twins may be similar in price.
Going from memory, the diesel option was about $7,600. And the Auto trans option cost about $2,400.
I do agree...those are ridiculous prices. But if you want a new diesel, that's what your going to pay. And I will say, that all those bells and whistles...monitors, sensors, computers, electronics, etc. I can see where the costs come from. You can thank our elected leaders for that.
