A question here for those with the key-less start.
I have Ford King Ranch, with the combination lock on the door. Often, when stopping (it is a diesel truck) at a convenience store, I leave the truck running for the few minutes I am inside, locking the doors with the outside combination buttons, and, of course, re-entering the vehicle by using the combination.
Anyway, since I have always done this, with any diesel truck I have owned, how does the key-less fob work???
Will the vehicle shut off if I get so far away from it???? (assumption here is I have the key-less in my pocket).
Or will the vehicle alarm go off?????
I don't know, and was just wondering. Thanks!
