Nope not a fan of the no gas cap on the Rams. Our Chargers, 300 and Challenger also are cap less but they have a latch to lock the fuel door close and seal out dirt and water. Not so on the Rams, yes there is a seal on the fuel door but NO latch to hold it tight. Not a smart move and they are already working on fixing it. Note the pic of a 2500 sitting on the lot at a local dealer, would you buy this? I wouldn't.
This pic was sent to Ram via the head of Quality here at my plant. Really guys the cost of the seal and now a retro fit of some kind when all we had to do was put a dollar something freaking cap on it! :S
They should have shipped Fred Diaz down the road sooner! Good luck Nissan your going to need it.
