I did remember reading this on the Allpar.com site
The frame-mounted fuel filter/water separator has 3-micron particulate filtration and water stripping to increase engine performance and durability. The unique venting system prevents dirt and water from entering the tank; a warning light illuminates on the truck's instrument cluster when the high-capacity sump requires draining.
Have you looked for the new fuel filters installed on the frame Jim?
Those capless fillers are pretty strange. I remember the first time I saw one before returning the rental, WTF was my initial thought. I do remember when I was a kid working at the Shell station, we had a big old box full of forgotten gas caps. And finding the fuel location on a 56 Chevy was sure fun the first time :B
I'll check it out...get a pic of it and try to post:)
Something like this?
Fuel filter setup looks very similiar to the one on my Super Duty. I do like the clear bottom piece better. Does the new RAM have a second filter under the hood?
Also the new RAM has two radiaters. What is the second radiater for? Where is the second water pump located?
