I am not sure what is happening with one ton Ram production but I know that my estimated ship date is today, the problem is that they have not started building it yet. Like so many others mine has gone from status D to D1 then back to C which was explained to me to be a soft scheduled status.. Sure would like my new truck. On the bright side my F-350 is still running very well and B&W has not released the new hitch for the new Ram so I would not be able to use it yet even if it was here.. Would like to hear when anyone actually sees a 2013 Ram 3500 at a dealership.

My dealer has told me, they won't see any 2013's until late March if not mid April. The first one will not be off the line until then.

ordered in mid January..the day after pricing was released to the Dealers.

Saw a news story regarding quality issues with the Ram truck when they go thru the quality inspection. Maybe this has put the production back. Also in the same story, the union is protesting some shift changes. Hmm wonder if they're related?

I'm in roughly the same boat. I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago, and mine has not changed status from "production scheduled".

10 new 2013 3500's, 22 2013 2500's at a dealer here in Portland Oregon. I wonder why they don't have any in TX? You're a lot closer to Mexico than we are.

We have them all over up here. Not sure why your truck would be held up. Something sounds fishy to me.

Don't think he gave any money down, why would you? ..I ordered mine and didn't pay anything for it until I decided to purchase it...I've never paid anything down when I ordered a car or a truck..

Dealer said today that they are ordering 2014 except for HD trucks now, did not know when 2014 hd would come available. New story is the truck I ordered in January will arrive on July 10th. Just another chapter in the saga.
Yes fortunately I do have a good TV, just not the one I wanted.

You are certainly as loyal a customer as RAM could hope for. I do understand your decision. You were one of the few that ordered sight unseen. Anticipating a great truck. Living up to all the media claims. You did your part...and more. You are not the problem. I am surprised RAM could not satisfy your order. But you gotta do what you gotta do.

Yo, Rick, got a call from my dealership today, UPS tracking states that my picture frame adapter will be in tomorrow...figures, I'm out of town till Monday....I'll make a beeline to the dealership Monday and pick it up, "IF" it actually comes in...now just got to figure out what they may charge me..(I should charge them):)...will keep you posted on it....
