If it’s a trailer with a very low CCC then yes. But as I have said, some trailers are as much as 3-4K lbs. my trailer has a 4100lb CCC. No way I would use the GVWR.
More to the point. If you do not use it all in your figuring.... What is the worst thing that can happen?
And conversly, if you do use it all, and do not figure on it.... What is the worst thing that can happen?
I always figure I will use it all and then some.
Keeps me out of trouble.
Huntingdog I'm in your camp . I would use it all and I did. I had a trailer with the same ratings as Dodge Guy (different brand),except I did load it to its 11K GVW lots of times.
