Assuming you are buying "off the lot". When bought our current trailer we ordered it from the mfr to get it optioned how we wanted it.
So, if I'm trying to compare weights on similar models between mfrs, that means I have to find dealers with those models in stock, with the correct option set, and the yellow stickers posted online?
Theoretically that's possible, but it's a whole lot of work, and the newbie RV buyer isn't going to know to do that, they are going to use the brochure weights as a reference point.
