Not quite axed, just no longer independent.
Stellantis, like any other company, won't say no to profit. If we look at SRT's lineup:
- Charger / Challenger, based on early 2000s E-Class
- Grand Cherokee / Durango, again, old ML / GL platform
- Wrangler, existing platform
Formula is just shove the biggest engine that fits, and bolt on the best suspension components, on either a paid off platform, or one that's cost-shared. It takes very little to float SRT, but $$$ profit.
