Should have been more detailed. It does mold around the bends , so to speak, to create the panoramic bends...and it has a molded center line detail. The gasket just kinda keeps it in shape. It isn't just a piece of smoked plastic... You would def need to get a donor window if something happened to yours. A pice of plastic would not work. Believe me, we spent many hours trying to figure a way to replace it. Finally bought a donor window from someone who decided to stop his Reno. $150 bucks.
