The issue is with the EPA. With DPF's and EGR's our motors are suffering from air restrictions, they recirculating hot exhaust and REGEN mode is burning up extra fuel.
Ive been in a 800hp/1500FTLBS 8000lbs truck that got 30mpg. It had sequential turbos that burned clean and had no smoke.
