I felt kind of bad when I read how stupid i am...that i shouldn't have a diesel engine if I didn;t know anything about them.
Then I reconsidered:
In 2000 i started researching diesel engines... I was able to wait for the 2003 GMC duramax... i wouldn't buy it until I could pay cash for it. $48,000 is a lot of money.
Well... when I look back almost 11 years... I've never got my hands dirty... and no one else has... it still runs perfectly... up hill and down... hot or cold...
... I didn't buy a second or third level truck... or engine/transmission. I never had to modify anything... never had to have it repaired.
Mom would have been proud... I was smart enough to get it right the first time.
The power, the acceleration, and the 50% fuel economy... 15.1 mpg instead of the <10 mpg using gasoline.
Do you really think that I'm the stupid one:R
