Well the LONG awaited new truck is finally in my driveway!!!!! 2015 LongHorn Dually Crew Cab Aisin/4:10 combo. Oh yea rear air too.Picked it up yesterday at AutoNation in Seattle.So far with just a couple hours behind the wheel I like it. There are so many new things to learn compared to my 11 HO Dually LongHorn I traded in.I was NOT happy with the ride. The factory had 80psi on all 6 tires so I dropped the rears to 45 and it rode MUCH better. The Aisin/4:10 combo will really get the load moving easily compare to the 11 with 68RFE/3:42's. The "Full On" exhaust brake mode is awesome. The front suspension makes the 11's look wimpy! Very massive.Have a B&W RVK3600 sitting in the bed in two boxes and am anxious to get that installed and my HighwayProducts bed height tool box installed.Can't wait to hook up and really give it a workout!

Yeah, I turned off the speed lady in the box too.

After all, with the wife along, I've already got a nag-a-gator, oops, er, um,navigator.

Yeah, you can set that from 1 mile over the speed limit up to 10 over....I turned it off, got tired of the nagging:)...I never did care for the easy exit...I disabled mine....The wife really likes driving the dually....she get's a lot of looks when a little 5' 2" lady is driving that big ole truck....

I figured I may as well try some of these options then either keep them or turn them off.

Came home in the 98 yesterday to take the wife to an appointment. I was almost home and here she comes in the dually I puller over figuring she would also and go home and have me drive in the 15 but NOOOO she just smiled at me and just drove on by! Talk about butt hurt!

Used PL Locktite polyurethane construction adhesive. The best IMHO. Yes for rattling.

Did you use the UMHW to help keep it from rattling and rusting from sliding back and froth? That would be a great idea to keep the noise down. However, I don't see any screws or bolts holding it in, glue or construction adhesive maybe? We have tons of the stuff here at the plant, not that I would ever pilfer any of it :) .

I'm heading down to Sun City Center Florida this weekend to help my Dad pack up some stuff he can't fit in the car. Wish I had taken pics of the other side. The plate against the spring bolt is 1/8" thick and the plate is captured by the spring nut and bolt. Directly above is a bed crossmember that a steel plate is bolted to you can see in pic. I used strips of UHMW for the tube to slide in, you can see the bottom one in the pic.
