Turtle n Peeps, I took your post and I read it to my 2001 Cummins 5.9 DT, I told him how his torque means nothing, it is all about HP, HP, HP. You can't possibly move 19,500# GCVW up 6% grades at normal highway speeds. He ignored me and said I don't care, that with the 3.55 gears you have behind me, I will still continue to move you, me and your good sized 5er at highway speed both down hill and UP HILL.
But Cummins, I said Turtle n Peeps stated that with less than 285 HP you CAN'T do that I need more HP than 285 to move that much weight at those speeds.
Well I sure am glad the my Cummins can't read or hear me!!! :S
