HAHAHAHA!!! Friction is heat. The parking pawl in the transmission does not create heat, friction, or HP. It creates torque that is being applied opposite of the force the hill is creating which is torque applied. If the parking pawl does not hold and the truck starts rolling down the hill then the hill is making more hp than the parking pawl because then you bring in torque the hill is applying and adding RPM from the truck rolling.
