I can see by your posts that you're a fan of the big Ford six.
Me too.
Your '94 was one of the last of the 300 inline sixes. Ford replaced the carb with fuel injection by the time the '94 model year came around.
A buddy had a fuel injected 300 inline six in his mid '90's F 150, also the 5 speed standard, much like yours. He loved it. He called the truck..'Charlie' because it reminded him of author John Steinbeck's personal truck in his novel, Travels with Charlie.
In the last years , think it put out around 150-160 HP and around 265 ft. lbs. of torque. It's competitor, the Chevy 4.3 liter (262.5 cubes) was rated in it's Vortec years around 190-200 hp and 250 to 260 ft. lbs of torque. As per usual Chevy and Ford rate their engines power...torque rating in this instance... very close to each other. They are competitive.
I've had a lot of experience with both the Ford 300 cube six and the Chevy 4300 , 90 degree V6.
IMO, two of the toughest and best engines ever developed. Both of them were favorites with commercial package/ regular delivery outfits, because of their reliability/durability and good, strong low end power.

I agree on both. I still see my ol' '94 F150 around town from time to time. I recognize it's Cragar wheels and hitch receiver I installed years ago. I called mine Spook as it was solid white. I hated to see the 300cid I6 come to an end.
