My dad had a 1990 Caddy Sedan Deville that he put over 230k miles on it. When he sold it, the leather looked like new... no, I am not exaggerating. He is meticulous about his cars and always has been.
Sounds crazy but he didn't use fancy automotive leather cleaner. He used the same stuff that he cleaned and polished his dress shoes with. Yes, you heard that correctly. He polished his seats with shoe leather polish.
They were as beautiful and soft as the day they were made. Probably even softer. Those seats were awesome.
It may be that these seats are in nice shape due to similar care?
