Dual wheels really do improve the towing and are lot more stable than singles. Getting used to the extra width is not that big of a deal.
We bought a Chevy D/A dually last year(getting retirement rdy) moving up from our "03 srw 3/4.Big difference and we pull a 14.5K max Jayco.
I looked long and hard at the Frieghtliner MDT's but after having worked on my knees all these years it was just going to be tough climbing up into it.
All the new deisals are good,this makes my 2nd Dmax and I just like em.Never any real trouble from GM's and I have a bunch ,but we do maintain em.
