Can't beat a med duty if you're putting the miles on and don't intend on using it as a daily driver. But if you want a one size fits all truck, then it's hard to ovelook any of the new 1 tons. They are all over 800ft-lbs at the crank, bone stock and have the drivetrains to back that up. And Ram and GM have seriously stepped up their chassis' and suspensions as well. Look at the '14 Ram dooley coming out with air ride rears.
Tough call. Cool factor and peace of mind going a little overkill on the tow rig or creature comfots and driveability of a pickup?
I haven't driven any of the fancy med duty trucks. I'm sure they're pretty luxurious, but cant get over thinking I'd be driving a big Penske van around!
