You might be right. What I question is how much fuel will you burn over the live of that Volvo. If you plan on putting enough miles on your rig that you would wear out two pick ups i am going to guess you will be putting on around 600,000 miles. 600,000 miles at 8 miles per gallon is about $300,000 worth of fuel. If the pick up will average 10 mpg instead of 8 you could save about $60,000 on fuel by buying and using a pick up instead of a big truck.
