I have no idea what anyone is talking about when they 'winterize'! We have 365 days a year to RV in the southwest. We do have a few hard freeze nights even in the desert every year but have never had the lines or tanks freeze in our trailer over the years. Getting ready for a week in California wine country next month for some of the red stuff!
Your on my list too buddy.......: ) - mikeflysExplorer

Not to change the topic but Happy Times Are Here Again. Fall camping is just about here in Sunny South Florida. Heading For T H Stone Port St. Joe State Park on Cape San Blas in a couple of weeks. Kayaking, red fishing, trouting and hiking not to mention just having fun in the (not as hot as summer time) sun. Really looking forward to our first extended trip in our 2101 FBS MINNIE. Picked it up on early September and having been doing a few mods. Biggest, moved the elec. jack back about 4 inches to get the F 150 tailgate down while stopping. Much easier to get the 85 lb. lab out with the tailgate open. But I am also jealous of all of that rest you guys up north will be getting.
I hate you...............: ) - Dog_FolksExplorer

It is getting to be the time but......maybe we can get in a couple more weekends before we put paddington away. - NanciLExplorer III don't mind the pink.
We are heading down to the Suwannee river in North Florida for the annual canoe challenge and marathon and will stay for a week for some canoe camping.
Then when we get back here to the NC high country I'll flush the lines with pink -Then right after Thanksgiving when the last of our kids and grandchildren have left, we'll will make our annual trek to the Florida Keys and be there until the spring- exploring with our kayaks.
Retirement is wonderful !

Save your money and head south when you retire. No more pink.
That's my dream.
I have been out of the pink for awhile now. Yes I absolutely dreaded having to winterize and put my RV up for the winter.
Sooooo glad I no longer have to do that. I feel for you'all.
Save your money and come on down south next year, we will leave the light on for you! - KittykathExplorer IIHonestly, we're looking forward to some time off from camping. There are so many other winter activities to obsess over until the spring thaw. Sleeping overnight on a frozen lake is one of them. The changing of the seasons does have it's advantages.
