1) What is your Brand of ST Tires - Goodyear Marathon (Made in N.Z)
2) How old are your ST tires? 6 years until replacement last year
3) How many miles on your ST tires? Roughly 20,000 kms
4) What is your average towing speed 50 - 65 mph / 80 - 105 kph
5) Any Failures? None
6) If yes to #5 please provide details: N/A
7) When you purchase new ST tires, will you purchase this brand again? I thought I would.
New Set Last Year:
1) What is your Brand of ST Tires - Goodyear Marathon (Made in China)
2) How old are your ST tires? Not even 1 season old.
3) How many miles on your ST tires? Roughly 800 kms
4) What is your average towing speed 50 - 65 mph / 80 - 105 kph
5) Any Failures? Yes - Tire blew on first trip with new tires.
6) If yes to #5 please provide details: Very hot day. Traveling at 62 mph / 100 kph. Looked in rearview mirror saw black shards everywhere and smoke. Tire tread had separated.
7) When you purchase new ST tires, will you purchase this brand again? No way in heck!
This season; didn't trust the made in China Goodyears and replaced all 4 tires with Maxxis M8008

2) How old are your ST tires? 3 months old
3) How many miles on your ST tires? approx. 1200 km
4) What is your average towing speed 50 - 65 mph / 80 - 105 kph
5) Any Failures? None
6) If yes to #5 please provide details: N/A
7) When you purchase new ST tires, will you purchase this brand again? So far I am happy with the Maxxis tires. If they hold up, yes I will.
BTW - My plan is to switch out the Maxxis with the made in China Goodyears for winter storage purposes and keep the Maxxis covered in the garage for the winter months.
Just another thought for this thread. Maybe we should specify the weight of the trailer and size and load range of the tire?
My tires are ST20575R14's Load Range C. My trailer weight empty is 3800 lbs. Loaded I am near 4500 lbs.
