No argument from me.... I will say in addition to the 3/4 ton trucks there are LOTS of 1/2 ton trucks that make it to 200K and beyond.
My son is driving a 2000 Silverado (1/2 ton) that is at 302,000 miles. He's done all the scheduled maintenance, replaced 1 muffler, and rebuilt the front end. He says he's going to drive it until it dies, and then drop a new motor and/or tranny in it.
