To me there is a BIG difference between making it to 200K and making it to 200K with very few repairs.
I was thinking this too. What are they basing the list on? Just making it to the mark no matter the repair cost?
Every Toyota and Honda (6)I have owned has easily made it over 200k with nothing more than regular maintenance. (brakes, tires, oil changes) My current Accord has 248k on it and it is bone stock with the exception of sway bar bushings and a $50 piece of power steering line.
Every GM I owned (7) needed head gaskets, alternators and full exhausts before 100k. My current Ram has a new tranny at less than 30k.
