While I like my awning lights, what I really liked this past trip was some inexpensive solar lanterns from Family Dollar. $2 each in pretty colors and they last a long time. They stay lit after we turn all the other lights off to go to bed, but are not intrusive. They are open on the bottom, sit on the tables, and I put one on the trailer tongue and two by the steps. Works well.
And you don't have to attach/detach from the awning.
