The dash turned to dust, rear end failed, it ate front hubs, sludge, radiator leaked and failed, cooling hoses blew, sensors failed, and the list goes on. I bought an 08 and it's given me no problems, so they got it all figured out eventually. From that point on I said I'll just stay away from the first model year.
There are bad apples in every batch. I have a lot of issues with silverado as well.It doesn't mean they are all bad. All new vehicles have problems.
