The Worst Spot for a Leaking Flexible drain pipe

I have a Rockwood UltraLight that has sprung a leak in the flexible drain pipe that comes from the kitchen sink P-traps. My TT has a kitchen slide thus a flexible pipe for the movement. It looks like the cabinet has been pinching it. Anyone found a way to patch or repair one of these? The main problem is location and the fact that it is a ribbed pool hose type pipe. Whatever I put on it has to be flexible.

Thanks for any ideas.

  • Lowe's and Home Depot sell the ribbed flexible P-traps. Not sure how they hold up over time, flexing and moving all the time, but can't be any worse than what you've got right now.
  • Old-Biscuit is right as usual. But if you must try a patch this stuff will last a little while.
  • Replace the whole section....repairs will NOT hold up

Use a longer piece so you can reroute it away from area where it is being pinched
