- downtheroadExplorerI took a look at my spec. sheet....re: the unit I referenced above. Mine says: Specifications: Electrical Rating: - 24 VAC (18 to 30 VAC). It works just fine so maybe the one you are considering will be good also.
(see my post and link above) - kaydeejayExplorerHmmmmmm "This thermostat could be used on single stage furnaces and air conditioners including 24-Volt."
does NOT say it can only be used on 24V systems.
I would contact the Manufacturer.
FWIW MOST electronic thermostats have a couple of AA batteries to keep the clock going. - samhain7ExplorerThe one I provided a link to does have two AA batteries...

I have seen about two comments in this forum that Honeywell is not recommended.. - downtheroadExplorerdonn0128 is correct...needs to be battery powered.
This is the one I used...works great. I did add a hi/lo fan switch.
Honeywell TH3110D1008 Pro>>> LINK - donn0128Explorer IINO! 24-Volt means it requires double the available power your trailer has.
Better choice is a Hunter Douglas battery powered thermostat available for about 25 dollars at Walmart. Add a 4 dollar SPST switch from Radio Shack and you will also have two speed fan for your AC.
