I like your perspective.
The raw and matter-of-fact, deep-down-to-the-bone realities of RVing.
Most of these responders seem like their lives revolve around camping or a more euphemistic term RVing.
Recreation? ...yeah right.
When you see someone hugging a six-pack, traipsing between your kids and their parked bikes you'd wonder what you got yourself into. This is not recreation.
I love going on a trip and enjoy the scenery every once in a while as a respite from city life, but I still (more than anything else) long for the comfort of S&B accommodation.
For what it is worth. . . if I were in your situation I'd make sure to stay away from these six-pack hugging bloodshot boogeymen specially with your two young kids.
I'm not saying RV PARKS are the enclaves of these boogeymen, but these are their favorite sanctuary or maybe if they are out on a lam. Sorta "what you see in RV Camp stays in RV Camp."
Enjoy your camping and keep an eye on the kids.
