We camped when in our 20's. Then we had kids. Camping worked until the kids hit their teenage years. They didn't want to camp anymore. We bought a cabin and that worked for a while. Then the kids wanted to stay home and not go to the cabin. After the neighbors gave us a call and complained, we realized they wanted to party. We started to stay home or mix up our schedule to throw them off.
When they were old enough to move out, we sold the house and moved to the cabin. We realized that we missed camping and bought a trailer and are loving it. I've scheduled camping trips for next year through mid September. Oh ya and our kids, want to go with us now, but work and their kids often prevents that.
So the reason for this big history of our lives, you have to make changes based on what's happening right now in your life. One day you will see people sitting around a campfire having a good time and you will say, "I miss that". Next thing you now, you will be shopping for RV's.
