You have to be patient.
Write down what you want, features, size, slide or non-slide, length, brands and separate models.
Then go surf Craigslist and all of the likely locations for campers. Northwest is truck camper central. There are other locations where they are popular.
But, do search states where they may not be also. You can filter by Lance, or Bigfoot, or whatever brand.
It takes time buying used. I looked for a good 6 months before I found mine. Started in the fall, and went into the spring. Found it in May.
The savings of buying used can be substantial. You will have to do some maintenance and repairs, but if you buy a good used unit, you will have plenty of money for that.
Prices on used units can vary by a huge amount. Plus or minus 3-5k on NADA value is not uncommon. Be patient.
