This is going to hurt!

My six year old 87k mile F250 has never been back to the dealer since I bought it. My two year old 52k miles Prius had one flash done for the electric drive to prevent overcurrent while drag racing. Not a problem to be had. Not sure why some people have so much trouble with their vehicles.

I have a 2013 Ford with Sync and it has its drawbacks the biggest one being its voice recognition but with the name on the dash name proudly stating Sync powered by Microsoft says it all. It's one company that never gets it right the first 10 or12 times.

My first Ford truck just turned 3 years old yesterday and 33,000 miles.... Not one issue and no recalls. My first truck a dodge...well I won't go into that :)

222,000 miles on my Ford F-250. Other than a brake job on all four wheels, and replacing the radiator and thermostats, it has given me zero problems. I guess I must have one of the good ones.

If the "MyTouch" mess was the big problem, I wouldn't be concerned about buying a vehicle with the newer Sync3 version. The current version of Sync is very good--I've used it in several rental cars.

U connect system works very well. So far I am impressed..

The Ford F-150 is Consumer Reports top rated Pick Up in this months issue.

Don't EVER buy a Jeep, if you're a Consumer Report fanatic, though I've owned them since 1982 and NEVER had the first issue with Wranglers, Jeep Grand Cherokees, Patriot, Compass or the Cherokee ....their mag is a rag..:B (and I've NEVER cared how they rated vehicles anyway..went by my own personal experiences, or those of my family..

Amazon reviews are more informative than CR on consumer products. They've always been a joke on automotive reviews.

As far as vehicles go, one rag I do trust when it comes to cars, minivans and crossovers is Car and Driver. Their staffers are generally pretty knowledgeable about how a vehicle should handle and perform, and I've been a reader for over 20 years. They aren't as good on trucks as those tend to be a little outside their wheelhouse, although they do okay on half tons.

Agree on cars...not much on trucks...but there are truck mags one can check out...

I never listen to any of the Consumer reports or JD powers for anything. They never seem to be correct.

Car and driver is also a joke. How can you praise a truck for how well it tows a trailer, but then say it rides rough! or how well the view is from the drivers seat, then complain about having to climb in! :h

That's why I said they aren't as good with trucks. Different priorities.
