The ONLY articles I could find re banks not loaning to oil companies, is in relation to "where and how" they are drilling. If the drilling etc was bad for the environment etc, they are being asked not to loan on these types of endeavors. But if its a cleaner way of getting oil out of the ground, environmentally sensitive to not harming the environment, then loan away!
While I realize some may not agree with this stance, I personally feel BIG OIL etc can do a better job getting the oil we need, and not harming the environment as bad as they have.
Biden may very well be saying this basic statement too. I have not found, nor looked for a quote of any nature by him in this regard.
