Slight change. Maybe You should never, ever weld on a truck frame. I have cut a 350, a 250 and several class 8 trucks in 2 replaced or added sections with no issues. I have also had to plate a few factory frames on class 8 GMCs when the owners tried to do the same work as I was with my spliced 9000 Fords. (GVW 67,000. GCVW 110,000)
