Somehow I need to figure out how to copy some old, I mean really old photos from the 60-70's with the 68 Chevelle sporting the 427 CI RAT. I bet that thing didn't weight 4k lbs :w My oldest son now has it, but I digress I suppose. Carrol Shelby was a customer of mine back in the late 60's early 70's. I was his paper boy and I can tell you he was a really nice man, good tipper too. He always took me out to his garage when I was collecting to see his new and latest Mustang or as he stated my " Newest Shelby" . He later engineered the Dodge Viper.
We lost him last year, but he lived a nice full life with many accomplishments.
And if you have to ask me what a "paper boy" is..... your about the same age of my grandsons.
