Those of you with toppers, caps, etc. on your pickups...
Do you have trouble with rain water leaking in around your tailgate when you are driving?
We have a brand-new high-end Leer topper on my '09 GMC. Rainwater pours into the truck bed from the gaps around the tailgate as we are driving down the road. I am trying to fill the gaps with foam tape, but I'm not having much luck. I can still see daylight all along the vertical sides of the tailgate. Are there any solutions?
I did not have this problem at all with my soft tonneau cover, which I used daily from July '09 to July '12. Tons of rain and snow, and nothing ever got wet in the bed. So I am assuming the topper causes a wind shift of suction that allows the water to come in????
