If he were going to buy a set of rear mud/snow tires for his old farm truck, he would study tires for three months and visit each tire dealer in the area searching for the best quality and price tire.
but he normally got a good deal, maybe because the dealer was just tired of him coming by and sold the tires to him below cost to stop his visits.
