My worry with jumping up to the 265/75R16 is clearance, I need to check to see if I have the room for an additional 1.7 inches of clearance. The 245/75R16's do give me a little over 1,000lbs over the GVWR of the trailer.
all are good
i would upgrade to an LT 265/75R16 load range E to get the 3415# load rating for just a few bucks more.
freight and mounting are the same for 245 or 265 .
i have , in fact done that for my duramax and the vortec 7400 that preceeded it.
a couple of bucks has added about 15 % to tire life
and gives reserve capacity to stop blowouts . - taviking22Explorer

For almost the same price I liked the Firestone Transforce HT. They are a commercial tire and have held up very well.
I am also running Transforce tires and really like them so far. - DrippinExplorerFor almost the same price I liked the Firestone Transforce HT. They are a commercial tire and have held up very well. I've had them for about 3 years.
