On our 2000 F350 it was a really easy install,The fishing wasn't very bad.Your 2003 should be the same.
I just installed them on our 2015 f350. Had to take the bolts out off the gas tank shield and let it drop a few inches. If I had to do it again it would be much easier but the 1st time I had some trouble understanding the instructions specifically about adding a Bracket to hold the brake cable away from the tiedown. The passenger side was easy no fishing needed.
Now that I have done it it really is quick and easy. Just study their instructions and any U=tubes you find.
