I had to do a good amount of trimming to get the Torklift tie-downs to fit on my 2011 SB Double cab truck and I was glad that I was doing the installation. I corrected the tie-downs to get a better and a strong fit and to prevent them from rubbing on my brake and fuel lines. A shop would have been inclined to install them as is and I would have had problems down the road.
To the tools that they recommend I would had a power metal saw, a grinder, and a can of spray paint.
