Tie downs?
Can someone explain why I see some trucks with tie downs mounted directly to the frame and others to the bumper and behind the cab? I'm not sure if it is just preference or the what kind of camper/ t...

To add...I used some pocket mounts for mu last TC and never had an issue. The RV shop told me they wouldn't worry about them as I had a old '95 F350 and the bed were thick and strong. My new(er) truck has Torklift frame mounts and I wouldn't have it any other way.
