Can someone explain why I see some trucks with tie downs mounted directly to the frame and others to the bumper and behind the cab? I'm not sure if it is just preference or the what kind of camper/ t...

And he means (:)): The Fastguns are the turnbuckle type devices that connect the camper to the tie downs. The Tie Downs bolted to the truck are a separate item. You can use the Torklift Fastguns with either Torklift or Happijac tie downs. The Fastguns are ordered by length, depending on the camper, truck, and tie downs. The tie downs will be specific to the model and year of truck.
