Yup, 6-speed is a huge step up for towing, otherwise the 07 sounds like a nice truck.

I agree you don't really have a bad choice. Since it looks like you plan to drive it for quite a while, resell isn't really a big consideration IMO. Given that, if it were me, I'd probably try to get new even if I didn't get all the bells and whistles.

so drove many. just for those who may be interested, the hemi ram feels much more car like. its smoother and softer. it is also much more ballsy (with the standard rear end) that said the f150 feels like a higher end vehicle. the interior is much nicer and it presents its self as having a higher build quality. its toys are also a bit friendlier. Still don't know what to do. I like both and I don't think there is a bad decision just my 2 cents

I'm very happy with my tradesman. I don't need all that fancy stuff. Just more stuff to go wrong, imo. I still have pw, pdl, cruise, ac, back up camera, rear park sonar system, radio with Bluetooth, just no touch screen. I really grew to dislike the touch screen in my 15 Silverado. I don't miss it at all.

Just my .02, but I'd go with the brand new ram in a heartbeat. You can't beat having something brand new that you know it's complete history. But that's just me
