Time for truck tires.

I have a 2008 GMC 3500 DRW and it's time for new tires. Currently running Firestone, purchased in 2014 and have had zero problems except for traction, my gravel driveway seems to chew them up.

The tires are LT225/75R17/E.

Looking for a good all terrain tire that's not too aggressive to hurt highway ride and is quiet.

Any ideas?

Another Cooper fan...replaced Firestone's with them.

    X2 to Michelin

  • Cooper Discoverer AT3. Good traction, designed not to hold gravel, not sure on that, but saw that on their webpage.

I just started my second set, and was really pleased with the first set

Goodyear All Terrain Adventures.... I'm on my second set.

Yeah I'll second the Goodyear All Terrain but I think I had AT/2. Got good mileage, they are quiet and we went all over the place on backcountry and 4WD roads with them. Wish I still had them.
