Hedgehopper: As you can see I also a Colorado RVer and I am an active truck camper. I purchased my first camping trailer in 1960 and have had 9 different units throughout these 54 years. I do boondock in Colorado and Wyoming or wherever I might be. I also camp along the Poudre River and a lot of times in the North Park area. Every year I make a trip to the Red Rock area of southeastern Utah and boondock all over that area.
If you are concerned about safety, I never have had a problem regarding safety issues.
