CKNSLS has posted many times about these 19 failures that he is so aware of… he would have you believe he knows all about these terrible failures, but when I asked what kind of failures or anything of facts surrounding these 19 failures he ignores the question… but that don’t stop him from repeating this non-information…
On 11/25/13 07:55pm CKNSLS posted “That's Maxxis tire failure number four posted on this board. (Yes, I am counting).” :B :B
I guess he has read about 15 more in the month since that statement… :B:B
But no he is unaware of these mythical failures personally and is just repeating something he claims to have read on another thread… here is his evidence of these horrible tire failures posted on 11/28/13 12:09pm…
“Actually, on another thread a poster did a search and found out the problems for Maxxis tires are now at 19 failures.”
It’s not nice to spread and misrepresent the information, but to do it intentionally, well you know what I think about that…
So please supply links to these failures, if you can… it is you reporting them over and over and over again…
Another thing you keep saying is how few Maxxis tires are in use… but here again you have absolutely no information about their saturation… other that they are not OEM tires…
thank heavens…
they haven’t bowled to the trailer industries demands to build the cheapest tire they can…
You so proudly announce how good the brand you have chosen is based on the reports of two posters heck maybe three to the forums… now there’s a record you can count on…
You also say your chosen brand and a few others now have cap ply’s JUST LIKE MAXXIS… again others following Maxxis lead is quite a flattering form of evidence not often mentioned…
One more of your quotes from 12/01/13…
“You can't go by what owners say because-
1) The vast majority of owners speed beyond the limits of ST tires.
2) I have never seen someone check their inflation before leaving a campground.
3) Road hazards cause flats but owners refuse to believe this
4) Some say certain tires are junk even with improvements and good reports, because they used them twenty years ago and had issues.”
Well,
1- How many of those claimed 19 failed Maxxis tires used them above their rated speeds???
2- How would you know these tires had their inflation checked before leaving the CG???
3- How many of these tires suffered from road hazard???
4- Some say certain tires are junk that haven’t needed to make the improvements because they already had them built in, and you continually belittle the good reports they get, but you insist the good reports that a very few give the new tires you endorse are more valid than those of other people…
Why should I believe you reports when you quotes are questionable IMHO and your recommendations obviously bias ( almost to the point of being absurd)???
