How many posts have we read here where the person desirous of putting the Maxxis tires on their RV had to order it because it was not normally stocked? What is wrong with these tire sellers?
My Maxxis tires on my previous trailer had to be ordered because the shop didn't stock any ST tires or any tires in the size / load range I needed.
I actually was looking for Michelin but five different shops in my area (NTB, Discount Tire, Goodyear, Firestone and an independent) could not order them.
So I took Maxxis.
I didn't regret my decision and saved a few dollars.
I have not replaced, nor do I intend to replace, the 'china bombs' on my new trailer. I will watch them and look after them - like I would any tire.
If I get four years usage - regardless of the mileage - I'll be happy - through I'm actually hoping to do enough traveling to wear out a set of trailer tires for the first time in my life.
