Looked at Maxis tires at my local dealer when shopping for trailer tires. I was very unimpressed. Flimsy sidewalls, flimsy cap under the tread, light weight. Dealer basically admitted that they are a "low end" tire. You wouldn't catch me dead with that junk on my trailer. Maxis does make great off-road motorcycle tires however!
I opted for a more expensive set of CHINESE (yep, I said it. Flame away boys) tires and I love them. Matter of fact I've had better luck with good quality Chinese tires on my trailers than from other countries.
The "flag-waver" crowd on this forum will never, ever, ever, ever, absolutely never ever admit that some Chinese made tires are great. It's like trying to argue with a tree stump.
