Weighing a trailer, motorhome, fifth wheel on an individual scale for each tire is about ensuring the traveling weight is properly balanced.
An amazing number of rigs have too much weight on individual tires / sides / axles.
Even if you have good LT tires with the heaviest weight rating and well under the weight rating - if 75% of the weight is on the rear axle and 25% on the front axle - you are going to have trouble.
I've seen rigs with 65% of the total trailer axle weight on one tire.
